The Pulsar N70 Digital Night Vision Specs and Features
- The digital Night Vision scope is manufactured in the Russian Federation and available to customers around the world. Regardless, the manufacturer, Pulsar, is an American company known for catering to semi-professional gun aficionados with their high quality optics and scopes.
- The gun is light-weight for a rugged, digital night vision scope: only 2.2 pounds and 7 X 4 X 18 inches.
- The Pulsar N750 comes with a built-in laser IR illuminator with a three-step power adjustment and a double power supply (both a built-in circuit and an external one).
- All the rifle scope accessories come with an additional weaver rail which accommodate them all (as well as any future accessories you might purchase for the scope in the future).
- The Pulsar N750 is wonderfully user-friendly and the interface is all but guaranteed to never disappoint. We found it to be quite intuitive and easy to use even for people who never worked with a digital scope before.
- The scope also includes a wireless remote control, video output, a built in objective lens cover and durable (but lightweight) composite housing which helps the scope’s durability, video output, internal focusing etc.
- The rifle scope is also equipped to handle a wide range of different operating temperatures, so you can use in a lot of circumstances and regimes and still rely on it to work properly.
Pros of the Pulsar N70
- The Pulsar N750 is extremely user-friendly. After you’ve used it, you will probably insist on always using it.
- The visual quality is high enough to produce a HD video of your hunting trip. Considering the scope’s impeccable video output, you might create incredible videos to post online.
- The remote control adds a wonderful degree of convenience.
- Durability and resistance is incredible. The Pulsar N750 is relatively impervious to shocks due to the composite housing and built-in objective lens cover. Despite this durability, it is exceptionally lightweight.
- The scope is also, reportedly, very easy to zero, so you’ll have no problems using it in both daylight and light time conditions.
Cons of the Pulsar N70
- The scope is a bit pricey. The current price is around $1000, and a bit cheaper if you purchase a used model from Amazon.
- The scope has a tendency to become a bit blurry and difficult to focus (or zero in) at longer distances or during the daytime. I tried using an IR light and the results were better. However, we felt a bit disappointed having to invest in a separate item in addition to the Pulsar.
Our Verdict
Our verdict is that the Pulsar N750 Digital Night Vision scope is worth the money and the hassle due to its high quality and construction. Unfortunately, some minor issues crop up in terms of the scope’s focus and image clarity. We think the Pulsar N750 is still a worthy investment and recommend it for the serious night time hunter who is willing to invest in a pro level product.
